Little Man and his first kiss!

This first story happened a couple of weeks ago but I need to post it. We taught Ethan how to kiss and he loves to give us his "open" mouth kisses. Over the summer he has been going to a gym class which is a whole new story on it's own, but for now we will keep to this story. There is an open gym where all age groups could go and play. So of course, the girls loved to play with Ethan and he could not turn them down. I need to mention that the girls are all older - about 6-7 year olds. Well, when open gym was over this one girl came over to tell Little Man good bye and see if he would be back the following Tuesday. She gave him a hug and then she asked him for a kiss...as I was about to say that he doesn't give kisses(didn't want any germs)he leans over and grabs her and with open mouth, launches the biggest kiss ever.... You should have seen the look on this poor little girls face!! Priceless!!! She was like what the HELL just happened...stunned look. So I had to explain to her that he is just learning to kiss and this is the way he kisses!!! Lol. It was about the funniest thing I have ever seen....

Update on what has happened so far this year!!

I know I have not written anything in a long time but I have been very busy. Closed the store down at the end of December...which entailed moving furniture, supplies etc to my house! I was lucky enough to sell all of my fixtures and sign. So have been trying to get rid of everything else by having a huge garage sale, listing items on Craigslist and on EBay!

Then in January Tara found out that she was pregnant again. So this meant she needed to go back to work sooner than expected. So I started keeping Little Man during the day. This has been the best thing I have ever done.... We have so much fun, he keeps Mike and I laughing everyday all day!!

I keep telling Tara all the funny things he does each day and she suggested I started blogging so that I don't forget all if it. (cause I will be honest I will forget) besides this will give him something to look at later in life and say "did I really do that"?

So here we go on the journey......

Allergies!!

Well, it is official...the entire family is sick!! Yep, we get a cold front come in and the winds brought in some serious crud.  It started out with Tara on Saturday night when she and Kris came over to watch the fights.  Poor girl sneezed all night and then started coughing.  We kept Ethan over night and I think that he was on the verge of getting then.  Sunday we called Kris to pick up Ethan and I started to feel something come on.  Fast forward to Tuesday, I woke up with the worst sore throat ever.  I was sure that I had strep throat.  Then soon realized it was just allergies.  Aiden is staying with us and I noticed that his little eyes were getting red and was not really feeling too good either, so I started him out on his allergies meds.  Last night I had to sleep on the couch cause I was coughing so much and did not feel like going to the store to get cough medicine. This morning I get a call from Crissy at 10:00 am, she is at the doctors office waiting to see him.  She could not breath and needed some meds badly.  So we are officially feeling like crap....there you go.  I hope my post get just a little better than this!! :)

Day 2 ~Garage Sale Over

 Nothing new going on except finished up our garage sale this morning, not bad for a couple hours of work as Tara put it.  Kris and I were ready to just load up the leftovers and donate it, he decided to ask her first~good thing!!  She decided now that we were going to have another one in the Spring~so Kris and I packed up stuff in boxes and put he is gonna put in his attic for the next one~ don't think he was too happy about that part.  This gives us an opportunity to clean out our house and make a little spending money. 

Tonight is a big Fight night and we are having the kids over to watch it, then after the fight we are keeping the babies overnight.  Yes, I said babies...Aiden and Ethan both.  This should be an interesting night~morning.  I am just happy that Mike is home to help me. Will give an update in the morning to let you know how it all went.

Update.....

The reason Ethan was not in the family photo was he did not go to Vegas, he stayed home with his Kay~Kay.

First Day to Blogging

Today is my first day at blogging and trying to figure out how this all works, so be patient with me.  I believe that I am the last person on the earth that would have a blog if you ask my kids, but decided to try something new!  I haven't read a lot of blogs, just Tara's so I don't have much to go on.  So here it goes......you will read a lot about the new man in my life Ethan (precious grandson) and of course the rest of my wonderful family. 

This past weekend we went to Vegas for Crissy and Jeff's wedding.  We left on Friday and came back on Monday.  Does not sound like a long time for a destination wedding, but for Vegas that is enough time regardless if it is wedding or not.  We had the most wonderful time and everything went off without any problems or issues.  I was surprised that we had so many family and friends that came to Vegas for the wedding.  Crissy made the most beautiful bride and Jeff a handsome groom!  We have lots of stories, too many to blog about though!!
